Living in Azabu

Azabu, is an area within Minato in Tokyo, Japan, which was built on a swampy land in the foothills south of Central Tokyo. Living in Tokyo particularly in Azabu area means prominence and high standard of living.  Most known personalities are living in Tokyo like the artists, businessmen, and celebrities. Manga artist, Naoko Takeuchi is known to live in Azabu while vocalist, Ayumi  Hamasaki resides in a penthouse apartment in Minami
Azabu.  Living in Tokyo would be a great experience, aside from its best location; it is also a home to the yearly celebration of Azabu-Juuban Matsuri festival which takes place every month of August.
The embassies of Russia, China, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Taiwan, Norway, Philippines, Finland, South Korea, Iran, France and Greece are located in Azabu as well as a large number of foreign (gaijin) populations. Also found in Azabu is the National Azabu Supermarket which is extremely well-liked by foreigners living in Tokyo. One of the largest supermarket in Japan, it is well-known for their display of imported products, like wines, garments and food products. There are about 70 percent (70%) foreigners who come and shop at Nazabu supermarket.

The place has become a living comfort zone in Tokyo where large hotels, apartments, and condominiums, offer the most excellent service and best facilities for a modern day comfort.  These facilities are found in Azabu due to accessibility to the different transportation facilities, Azabu is accessible from Hiroo station on the Metro Hibiya Line and to the business and entertainment central areas such as Ginza, Shibuya, Omotesando and many other areas of entertainment. The existing three (3) subway stations namely: Akabanebashi Subway Station (Toei Oedo Line), Azabu-J?ban Station (Namboku Line, Toei Oedo Line) and Hiroo Station (Hibiya Line) also contributed to the popularity of Azabu which provide efficient access to the entire city of Tokyo.
To boost the presence of residential estates and to cater to the needs of most residents therein, Azabu puts up local public elementary and junior high schools, private high school and international schools. The Temple University Japan (TUJ) Campus is also located in Azabu. This is the first foreign university established in Japan where you can earn American associates, bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees while in Japan. Azabu is indeed a perfect place to stay in Tokyo.
